WE TAKE CARE OF PLUMBING EMERGENCIES, SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO!
AZ Family Plumbing is familiar with the common plumbing repairs of faucets and shower bodies, leaking pipes beneath the kitchen sink, and the common running toilet. But, attached to these common household fixtures (and buried in the walls) are separate piping systems for hot and cold water distribution, waste, and storm drainage.
We are specialized in the repair and maintenance of all invisible systems. After more than 25 years of working in Arizona’s buildings, troubleshooting skills are like a sixth sense to us. Tracking down complex problems and knowing when, where, and how to open a wall is our specialty.

Sometimes emergencies happen, and you need help fast. AZ Family Plumbing is here to help with your emergency plumbing needs 24/7. We won’t leave you wondering what to do or who to turn to. Instead, we’ll guide you through the process and quickly arrive to alleviate your concerns.

-
How often should a water heater be replaced?A typical water heater lasts 8-12 years. If properly maintained it can extend the life of the heater. Proper maintenance includes: Annual flushing Anode rod replacement Water Softener
-
Are water heaters hard to replace?Plumbing is a skilled trade, it takes many, many years to perfect the craft, ever though a great plumber makes it look easy, it can be very hard or frustrating to most homeowners.
-
Will Lowes or Home Depot install a water heater for me?Most big box home improvement stores do not install water heaters. They send out a contractor, like AZ Family Plumbing after you purchase from their store. It’s worth noting that AZ Family Plumbing does not purchase our water heaters from these stores. All products that come from the big box home improvement stores are “B” grade product that does not last as long as a contractor-grade water heater from a plumbing supply store. For example, a brand bought from the big box store called Rheem is made in Mexico and is assembled with cheaper parts and materials, as opposed to the brands we use, Ruud, which is made in the U.S.A. and assembled with high-quality materials that last longer.
-
How long does it take to replace a water heater?A professional plumber will only take about 2-4 hours. A homeowner doing it on their own could take 1-2 days.
-
Are tankless water heaters worth the money?Absolutely. Besides the endless hot water you get with a tankless water heater, owning a tankless water heater, it will pay for itself from the reduction of energy costs. A tank water heater will never recoup the cost that was initially spent. Tankless water heaters only consume energy when in use.

Proficient, Efficient, Professional. We had a great experience with this company. They arrived for a problem with the toilet, and stayed to replace our water heater (which had broken that day). What a relief to find a company that responds quickly and stays to make sure the job is done right.
